John graduated from Sheffield University and joined Berry & Berry in 1969. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1972 and is now the Senior Partner of the firm.

His vast experience covers all aspects of commercial property including specialist knowledge of the acquisition and disposal of nursing homes.

Most of John's long career at Berry & Berry was spent at our Whitefield office however in the last few years John has moved to our Walkden office due to his additional role as Managing Partner.

Occasionally John finds he has free time and will then indulge in his passions for Opera, Bridge and Manchester United.

John is very proud to have spent 40 years with Berry & Berry and having completed that length of time with the firm he modestly claims to be the Ryan Giggs of the Manchester legal profession!
