James is originally from Spain and has lived in the North West since 1993. Whilst studying Business and Finance at Manchester C.A.T., he worked for the Legal Aid Board. In 1998 James went on to train as a Law Costs Draftsman, joining Berry & Berry in the summer of 2000. In 2006 he became the Partnership Secretary.

In his spare time, James is the Treasurer of Prestwich Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society and enjoys good food and wine, theatre and travelling.
