Michael describes himself as a Salford solicitor specialising in criminal defence, especially youth work. In his 20 years' experience he has dealt with a wide range of cases including murders.

Several years ago Michael obtained his Higher Court Rights and has regularly appeared in the Crown Court as a Higher Court Advocate for a variety of offences including robberies and serious assaults. He has also successfully represented clients in the Court of Appeal.

In his spare time Michael runs a pack of 30 cub scouts and supports Salford City Reds rugby league team. He takes pleasure in good food and wine and particularly enjoys avoiding the gym.
